GSDP_logo_RGBWe exist to cultivate the fine art of dance in the Garden State through performance and education. Take in a show, watch us perform at your school assembly, or try a class at one of our studios. Each dance location we have is unique. GSDP is centered on athletic development through the use of “Functional Movement Systems”. Along side industry leaders One Human Performance Center, GSDP is “The Project’s Movement Science Laboratory”. It is a more rigorous program that requires a higher level of dedication. Our second location, being partnered with Camp Veritans in Eli’s School of Dance, we are creating options and avenues to Jewish cultural art opportunities for students, and possibilities of even going and performing at JCC Maccabi ArtsFest. We practice The Standards for Teaching and Learning Dance as set forth by NDEO, the National Dance Education Organization. All this to start, and both locations have a Recreational and PIONEER Program to accommodate the dedication and ability level of each student. We are ready to move!

Recreational Program is for any and all students that desire to dance for fun, socialization and exercise. There are no pre-requisites required to be a part of this program. Only requirement is attendance, and a positive attitude!

PIONEERS Program | Performance Company

This program is for the dance student that wants to challenge themselves take it to the next level. One Logo smallGSDP Athletic Arts Dance Academy  You are not just investing in your child’s dance education but their health and well being also. Our dance program is like no other; as the company in residence at One Human Performance, a leader in the field of athletic development. Students between the ages of two to seven years will receive athletic development woven on to their high quality dance instruction and training. Students eight years and older begin our program with a Functional Movement Screen to assess their movement. They receive several Functional Movement Screens throughout the year to keep their exercise programs current and make sure that their bodies are always in the best shape possible to perform in their chosen art form. (What is FMS? Click here to read and learn more.)

GSDP is among the first in the field of dance education to integrate the FMS into a curriculum that meets national standards. Currently, Olympic athletes, the NFL, the NHL, and many other major sport outfits use it, now it is your turn.

Please note; at GSDP we place students in classes based on skill and ability not necessarily age. For further clarification, questions, please contact our director at (862)-248-2909
